Garra Rufa (aka Doctor Fish) have arrived on the coast

For the last few years garra rufa have been used in spas across the world - Japan, China and the USA to name a few - for their incredible ability to treat skin diseases such as psoriasis. The fish belong to the carp family and are toothless so they merely 'nibble' on the dead and affected areas of the skin to reveal fresher, glowing skin. It is not a painful process at all and is actually very relaxing and therapeutic which is why this treatment is growing in popularity.

Our client, Golden Tarts, is one of a handful of places on the coast to offer a 'Doctor Fish' pedicure. Based in Jardin Botanico in Mijas this treatment is rapidly gaining popularity among their clients. From as little as 10€ a session clients can relax while the fish provide the most natural skin peeling process known to man.
